The Pysen was a small iron fishing vessel of 145brt, built in Hull in 1891. Her original name was Desideratum. She measured 31x6x3m. At the time of her sinking in March 1928 - she ran onto the rocks - the Pysen was bound for Haugesund to land a catch of herring.

The partly broken hull lies on its port side on a sandy bottom in 24-27m. The engine and boiler can be seen, along with other components. The wooden decks have collapsed, as has the wheelhouse and the funnel.
