Just W of Teigen the 100m isobath disappears. At this point there is a wall, overhanging in some places, 60 degree slabs in others, and vertical elsewhere. In July 2003 the water here was quite green, and there was a lot of blanket weed near the surface. We saw nudibranches, starfish, flatworms, and fish. According to the chart there should be another wall at the S end of a submerged reef about 400m to the W. We made a brief echo sounder search. It appears to start quite deep. |
