The steamship Inger Tre
went down after
a stranding in snowy weather on the 12th of January 1936 in Stavfjorden on
a journey from Bergen to Narviknorth. Inger Tre was stuck on the reef and the crew
got away without injuries, but the vessel slipped off the reef later and
sank.
DIVING
The wreck of Inger Tre is in15m to 30m with the bow as the
deepest part at Trefotskjæret. This is also the part of the wreck that
is still relatively whole. The wreck is marked on chart 26, and you is a boat
dive needing calm weather.
