This small bay gives good shallow scenic diving. At the S of the bay a pretty wall drops vertically to 22m onto sand. A ridge of rock runs down N-S from the NE of the bay. Outside the bay to the N the wall drops to 25m and then shelves away to the depths. The outer wall is particularly pretty at around 6m. The sandy areas of the bay are good for scalloping. This site makes a convenient shallow second dive if staying overnight at the jetty less than 1nm to the E at Sagosen, a popular barbeque spot for the British liveaboards which has become known as "midge bay".. |
